The ZWO ASI1600 Guide
One of the most innovative little astro cameras of the last several years, the ASI1600 from ZWO made waves on it’s release last year, May 2016. This camera is the herald of a new age for astrophotography cameras, speaking to the benefits of new technology that is both already here, and coming soon. As one of the early adopters, I’ve done extensive work evaluating the camera from a hardware and performance standpoint. At the request of many members of the Cloudy Nights community, I have dedicated this section of my site to covering this amazing little camera, and centralizing all of the information that I’ve shared about it’s performance and usage that is currently buried within the histories of Cloudy Nights imaging forums.
