Due to periodic cloud cover and a number of alignment issues caused by a loss of power, I was unable to expose the Pleiades star cluster as deeply as I had originally intended to the other night. Since there have been clouds in the sky since, I’ve spent some time reprocessing the image. I’ve managed to produce a more detailed, brighter, and vibrant result than I originally did. Not quite what I had originally hoped for my first image, but given the difficulties in attaining the frames, I think this version is good enough.
I hope to get back out to do some astrophotography soon. The next clear nights in the forecast are currently Feb. 24-25th and Feb. 26-27th. Assuming the forecast is accurate, I should be sharing some much better images soon!

Thanks, Phil! š I’m practically crawling out of my pants to get another chance at the deep, dark sky! š It’s so funny, I’ve been way into astronomy since I was a kid, a good decade or so before I ever got into photography…and it took me nearly five years to finally get into astrophotography. š®
That is outstanding!
