Little Christmas Eve Finch


On the eve of Christmas, the one bird that is always present, regardless of the harshness of the weather, presence of snow, or anything…is the House Finch. They are smart little birds, and they know where the food is. I always keep my feeders full, and the finches were happy to chow down on the tasty little morsels of black oil sunflower seed, white and red millet, safflower, and nijer seed over the days rolling up to Christmas Day. Hope you enjoyed your Christmas Feast, little finches!
