Fluffy Little Kestrel

A small hawk, one of the smallest, the American Kestrel. This fluffy little guy was out hunting, rather successfully, out in the fields in the southern area of Cherry Creek State Park. After polishing off a tasty little meal…some kind of rodent, based on the remnants still clinging to his beak and talons…little Kestrel here decided to sun himself on a tree.
