It seems as though Comet ISON has met its final end, a demise of fire as it raced through a furnace 5000°F the last couple of days. This comet has been full of surprises so far, and while it was never able to reach spectacular naked-eye visibility, it has thrown astronomers and comet watchers through a number of loops as it feigned death only to rise again. Will it be able to pull off one more death defying stunt…or has it really disintegrated into a little ball of dust, never to be seen again?
