A Hundred Ibis

| 4 images

Last week, when heading out to photograph shorebirds, I came across a number of Ibis, in this case White Faced Ibis, at the Cottonwood Creek pond. These birds drew a number of viewers, as they have not been seen in numbers at Cherry Creek for a while. While watching, a large group of at least 50 to 60 flew up from the other side of the pond. A few minutes later, two more groups, at least 30 strong, also flew by, for a total of at least a hundred Ibis.
