Hah! Today my friends and I saw one of these and we’re wondering what it was! Now we know 🙂
Glad to be of help! 🙂 I wasn’t sure what they were at first either. I knew they were sandpipers, but it took a while to identify because of the fact that they were juveniles. They don’t look the same as adult Baird’s, and a hint from someone over on the BirdPhotographers.net forum finally made the correct ID.

Thanks! 🙂 This was my first attempt at getting down low to improve my use of DOF and produce better boke. I think it worked fairly well…with the exception of the rather harsh light.
