A while back, while hiking around Long Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area, I came across this small cascading creek. Most of the amazing waterscapes I see are usually shrouded in ferns, with moss covered rocks and towering waterfalls that poor into crystal clear pools. This creek had a unique appeal, completely shrouded in flora, surrounded by yellow and light purple flowers, in a setting I’d never really seen before. As I journeyed up the mountainside, following this creek, I took photos along the way. Below is the sequence as I topped a small rise, finally culminating in the featured photo above.
